Directions for Use:
Stove-top: In a pot, mix quick rolled oats with water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil while stirring. Remove from heat and cover for 1-2 minutes. Then stir and serve.
Microwave: In a bowl, mix quick rolled oats with water and a pinch of salt. Place in microwave on high heat for 1- 1 ½ minutes. Stir and serve.
1 Serving: ½ cup quick rolled oats, 1 cup water 2 Servings: 3/4 cup quick rolled oats, 1 1/2 cups water 4 Servings: 1 1/2 cups quick rolled oats, 3 cups water

Quick rolled oats are a great alternative to your favourite oatmeal. They are not pre-cooked but rather the grains are cut into pieces and rolled thinner than regular rolled oats, allowing them to be cooked quickly when added to warm water, milk or other cooking liquid. Because they have not been pre-cooked, quick rolled oats are also more nutritious compared to instant oats (which have been cooked and dehydrated).
Quick rolled oats are also preferred in cookies and other baked goods and dishes with short cooking times such as pancakes and waffles, as the quick oats will fully cook through.
