Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve restlessness and/or nervousness (calmative) and as a sleep aid (helps to promote sleep).
Recommended Dose (Adults 18 years and over):
2 tea bags 2 times per day, by infusion. Infuse 2 tea bags in 150ml of boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes. For sleep aid: take 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime.
Each tea bag contains 1.5g dried root/ rhizome of Valeriana Officinalis (Valerian).
Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Sleep aid: consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia).
Known Adverse Reaction:
Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal on bag is broken.
